Along the weekend of 10, 11 and 12 October will be held in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, Spain, a new edition of the most important festival for independent music in our country, “Monkey Week”. The “Monkey” is not a music festival more, like all the summer festivals, it’s more because it is a meeting point where after the summer season, goes anyone who has something to do with independent music .
Hundreds of artists and professionals, as well as press, producers and the public are mixed during weekends the streets and bars of El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, Spain, creating a unique forum, in a very pleasant setting and relaxed.
The line-up is, as every year, a long list of independent groups for everyone and where will without doubt the future of music in Spain or elsewhere. But best of all is that these people do not come just to play or dance, but to participate in the many activities that each year the organization launched in different scenarios: lectures, panel discussions, interviews, workshops …
